About This Video

In this video I’m talking about the TWISTURA Beta, a $120 IEM Linsoul sent me for review. They’re calling it “flagship-level,” and while I’m not here to play marketing games, I will say the overall presentation is excellent—like, embarrassingly good for the price. Build is legit: metallic shells (rare at this tier), good fit, venting, recessed 2-pin, and you get tuning nozzles. I mostly stuck with the silver nozzle because it’s the lowest energy up top, and the stock cable, tips, and case all feel premium. Sound-wise, the Beta is a fun, engaging W-shape with punchy, tight bass that doesn’t bleed into the mids. The big story is the upper mids: it’s intimate, forward, and emotionally engaging on vocals, but that 1.5k–4k region can get “cooked” and shouty. Some instruments can come off too spicy, etched, or even scratchy—kind of a glassy vibrancy that you’ll either love or tap out from. Treble is smooth, extended, and sparkly, and technically it’s a cohesive, dynamic set. For me it’s not a daily driver, but it can be a cool occasional listen—especially if you’re willing to EQ that upper-mid hotspot down.
