In this video I’m checking out the ORIVETI bleqk Purecaster, a single dynamic driver IEM that sits around the $150 mark. It was sent to me as a sample, and I go through the full rundown: build, comfort, accessories, and then the sound. Fit and isolation are genuinely solid for me, and I like the round shell shape a lot. The shell looks handsome, it’s vented, and it feels like a solid little unit—though it does pick up fingerprints. The cable is a highlight: swappable termination (3.5 and 4.4), a working chin slider, and that connector system is one of the best-looking and easiest to swap styles I’ve used. Sound-wise, I’d call it clean and engaging with a natural presentation, but it’s a bit outside my wheelhouse. The bass shelf is nicely linear and not boomy, mids are impressive and pretty flat/open, and the set has good clarity and speed. My main issue is the treble: there’s a notable 8k peak and the overall balance can come off a little bright (and slightly sibilent on some tracks), which makes the bass feel thinner than it should. I show nozzle graphs (black vs silver are basically the same to me), compare it to other sets, and I also share an EQ approach that pulls the treble back and makes it sound cleaner. My take: good set with great packaging and accessories, but it’s a cautious recommendation rather than a strong one—if you match my preferences, the Oriveti Low Master is probably the safer bet.
