In this video I’m talking about the Mystique Craft Tet—an absolutely wild $7,700 limited-run quadbrid from Lee (ex-Elysian), and mine was a loan from a friend of the channel. I go over the physical stuff first: the clear resin shell that looks gorgeous but makes me want to be a little careful, the big mold (great for my giant ears, not great if you’ve got small ears), the venting, and the Pentacon-style connection. The stock cable is legitimately beautiful—chunky, thick, and premium—though it’s a pain to stuff into smaller cases. Sound-wise, I call the Tet a slight L-shape: sub-bass focused with real weight, authority, texture, slam, and that punchy/rumbly bone-conductor feel. The treble is more relaxed than some other Lee sets—less “sparkly” and less fatiguing—so it’s easier for long sessions, but it can still show some sibilance and it’s not a perfect all-rounder for every track. Technically it’s world-class: pinpoint imaging, wide holographic stage, lightning-fast transients, and elite dynamics. I also get into graphs and comparisons (Myth/Hex, Annihilator 2023/2026, Labs X, Monarch MKIV, etc.), and I explain why the Tet ends up at the top of my discontinued list—because it’s expensive and “luxury market” weirdness is real, but the tuning is just beautifully done.
