In this video I unbox and review the Fifine X3 (FineFine X3) wireless headphone that comes in around $35, and I go over the stuff that actually matters: comfort, features, ANC, mic, and of course the sound. It was sent to me as a sample from Fifine, and while I’m not a huge ANC guy, the noise canceling seemed pretty good from what I could tell. Build quality is honestly impressive for the price—comfortable pads, a padded headband, adjustable fit (I’ve got a bigger head and it still fit fine), plus the cups lay flat. You also get a USB-C cable and an analog cable, and it has an onboard mic (I demo it in the video). Sound-wise, this is where I’m more mixed. The bass is weak and rolls off early, so kick drums and explosions don’t have that “oomph,” and EDM/hip-hop can feel underpowered. It comes off like a lean bright set: there’s upper treble detail and air, but vocals feel pushed back and thin, and the mid/treble balance can get tingly/sparkly and even a bit boxy. I also show graphs and talk EQ, but I found it challenging to fully fix because there are multiple regions that need work (bass, presence, and a notable ~5k area). My takeaway: great features for cheap, but the stock tuning isn’t my favorite—still a decent gift option for someone not super picky.
