About This Video

In this video I’m talking about the Fifine H19 (H19BP) — a ~$60-ish open-back USB-C-only gaming headset that Fifine sent over as a sample. I go through the build, comfort, and the included mic, plus the inline controller that gives you a 7.1 button, mute, and a few built-in EQ profiles. Build quality is solid, the headband is nice and squishy, and the pads are replaceable… but I’ll be honest, the stock pads feel a bit scratchy to me. The cable is also super stiff (chalky, but well-made), and the big limitation is connectivity: from what I can tell, there’s no USB-C adapter included—so you’re basically treating this like a PC headset. Sound-wise, the H19 is fun and engaging, especially for gaming. It has a big bass shelf that slams hard, but the lower mids can get thick, warm, and a bit muddy, and the treble leans darker with a few metallic/harsh spikes. I show frequency response graphs and compare the built-in EQ profiles (gaming/music/movie). They do change the tuning, but none of them are a “wow, fixed it” situation—so I also share the kind of EQ I’d personally do to tame bass and add some treble. My takeaway: not really a hi-fi pick for seasoned music listening, but a durable, feature-packed PC gaming option (and honestly, something I could see being great for kids/parents).
