If you have any questions about solo travelling Corsica, drop me a comment below :) Thank you to DJI for sponsoring this video, if you too want to act on your thoughts and make an awesome travel video, I highly recommend the new DJI Mini 4 Pro! Starting with the DJI Mini 4 Pro as a beginner filmmaker or YouTuber is the easiest drone to use. If you want to start making awesome travel videos, travel vlogs or YouTube videos the mini 4 pro is super light and compact, has omni-directional obstacle sensors (perfect for beginners) and my favorite feature of all! the 360 active tracking. About This Video

You know that moment when you’re lying in bed, doom scrolling, and a reel pops up with millions of views and you go, “I can make that”… then you keep scrolling and wonder why you’re not creating anything? That was me. So I decided to stop talking and actually act on the thought—by recreating one of those viral-style cinematic reels, solo, while living on an island in the middle of the Mediterranean (Corsica). The whole mission was simple: shoot a sequence built around match cuts, keep the frames consistent, and prove to myself that momentum beats comparison every time. I leaned hard on the DJI Mini 4 Pro for this because I could shoot true vertical for the reel and still grab a second shot for YouTube at each location. I used cinematic mode to slow things down, kept obstacle sensors on (because yes, you can absolutely “fly into yourself”), and pushed ActiveTrack in the real world—tracking the car, then using ActiveTrack 360 to create looping motion while it followed me. The bigger takeaway wasn’t gear though: the greatest challenge was mindset. Weather flipped, motivation dropped, and I nearly canned the whole thing—but once I kept going, the process became the win. Fall in love with the process, and the shots start to fall into place.
