We go category by category—family, POV, night, water, and action—and break down what’s working (composition, stoke, color, timing) and what to experiment with next. A few big takeaways: composition is everything (especially in POV shots), and it’s worth using your phone connection or the front screen on newer GoPros to frame properly before you commit. For night photos, keeping the camera still is the whole game—tripod plus a countdown timer makes a massive difference, and manual shutter is where the magic happens for motion light trails. Underwater, the closer you are to the surface/light source, the cleaner and sharper your images will be—plus dome shots look insane when the light’s behind you and the water’s clear.
