About This Video

In this video I’m giving you my first impression + honest review of the NEW YSL Libre Berry Crush, because the Libre flankers truly do not sleep. I tested it on paper and on my skin (because yes, it matters), and I break down what actually feels “different” here: you still get that signature Libre DNA right away—orange blossom and a very present lavender (she’s never the side piece, she’s always the main). The twist is the raspberry + coconut moment, and I’ll tell you straight up where I’m getting each note the most. On paper, the raspberry reads louder to me—fruity, slightly tart, and not like artificial Kool-Aid. On my skin, the berry isn’t as juicy, but the coconut and vanilla sweetness start showing up more in the dry down, and it ends up feeling surprisingly sophisticated for a fruity-coconut flanker. I also compare it to Burberry Goddess Parfum (since it has a raspberry/lavender vibe too), and for me Berry Crush is way more well blended—Goddess goes a little minty/weird on my nose. I finish with a layering combo using EOS Pomegranate Raspberry lotion to pull out more tart-sweet fruit, and it gives “business, bossy lady… but still sweet and girly.” My takeaway: don’t blind buy—get your nose on it in-store, spray paper and skin, and see which notes pop for you.
