About This Video

In this video I’m testing the NEW PHLUR Honey Moon and giving you my honest, real-time first impressions—because the name had me like “okay romance,” but the word honey had me thinking… are we about to be outside fighting for our life with bees? I grabbed the travel size (I’m just being real: honey is not a note I usually gravitate toward), sprayed it on skin, and walked you through the full wear from opening to dry down. The note list is mandarin, lavender, orange blossom, manuka honey, saffron, tonka, vanilla bean, and sandalwood, but how it actually wears is what matters. On my skin, the opening is a soft, slightly tart mandarin with a brief “weird water” vibe that I noticed in-store too. Lavender is listed, but I barely get it—way less than Afterglow—so I wouldn’t stress that note if you’re lavender-averse. Once it settles, it turns into an airy floral honey that reads like a “your skin but better” honey oil vibe: feminine, pretty, springy, and not dense or sticky. The dry down is where I get more tonka and vanilla bean with sandalwood smoothing everything out, plus the tiniest hint of a Burberry Goddess DNA. Overall it’s nice, subtle, intimate, and easy to wear—but not groundbreaking, not a big projector, and for me it’s not a full-bottle-at-full-price moment.
