In this video I’m testing the brand new Clean Reserve Caramel Swirl, and y’all… when I first saw “mango, caramel, white chocolate,” I was like, what is this going to give? I honestly didn’t know if it was going to lean fruity and summery or warm and fall, so I did a full first impression on paper and on my skin and broke down what I actually smell versus what the marketing makes you expect. I also talk packaging, price (I grabbed the $28 travel size), and whether it’s worth picking up as we’re leaving the colder months. On my nose, it’s not as weird as it sounds. I do get mango, but it’s more of a creamy, sweet golden mango vibe, and the “caramel” comes through more like caramelized coconut mixed with that white chocolate effect. The opening has a citrusy lemon touch (my mom even said lemon furniture polish on my skin), but that fades and the dry down gets warmer, toastier, and sweeter—think a mix of toasted coconut (kinda like Sol de Janeiro 39), plus a familiar caramel-gourmand dry down. I also share who I think this is for (sweet, dense fruity-gourmand lovers), when to wear it (early spring, end of summer, fall), and the exact body care I’d layer with it for a full caramel moment.
