About This Video

In this video I’m testing the NEW Dior J’adore Intense and giving y’all my honest, on-skin thoughts—because paper will only tell you but so much. I went into this extra curious because this one is made by the same perfumer behind Baccarat Rouge (MFK), and when I hear that, I’m like okay… maybe we didn’t come to play. Plus, with the honey, vanilla, and apricot in the notes, I wanted to see if it was going to lean sweet gourmand-leaning floral or go full “perfumey” grown-woman. On paper, I get a fruity opening with apricot sitting right over a fresh bouquet vibe—ylang-ylang, jasmine, and rose are present, but blended so it’s not screaming one floral. On my skin, the apricot pulls through even more (almost like apricot skin/leaves—juicy but not overly juicy), and the honey reads more like a sweetness that wraps everything together rather than thick, dense honey. The dry down is where she gets prettier to me: vanilla and sandalwood make it creamier, warmer, and more blended—like a soft, golden, approachable scent that feels classy and “wife/wedding” pretty. I rated it about a 7.5/10: nice, balanced, and safe, but not a must-rush full bottle—definitely one to spray on skin in store first.
