About This Video

In this video I’m reviewing the new PHLUR Afterglow, and I’m giving you my real thoughts on whether it’s worth the hype. I actually grabbed my bottle early off Mercari (I offered $100 and snatched it), and I go over the packaging too—because PHLUR always eats with the simple-but-pretty vibe, the heavy bottle, and that magnetic cap. Then we get into the notes: citrus splash, apricot skin, coconut foam, lavender milk, amber, vanilla, sandalwood, and cashmere woods—because the lavender milk + coconut situation had me very intrigued. I test it on paper vs. skin and it’s honestly two different experiences. On paper, it opens super fruity and juicy—like a real blended juice with pieces of fruit—heavy on the citrus/apricot. On my skin, the citrus fades quicker and it turns into this soft, creamy, musky “sweet skin” scent with coconut, a touch of lavender milk, and a warm amber/woody base. I’ll be honest: I like the opening and mid more than the dry down because something in the amber goes a little more unisex on me, but overall it’s sexy, calm, and easy to wear—day-to-day, fresh out the shower, bedtime, or a lowkey date night. It’s not a beast mode fragrance; it hugs close, but it lasted nicely on my clothes and matches the “afterglow/close connection” marketing.
