I’m running it into my Splawn 4x12 and miking it the way I actually would for a real gig/recording situation: an E906 on a Scumback H75 and an SM57 on a Vintage 30. The whole point is simple—no hype, just tone. I hit a bunch of parts and you can hear me reacting in real time because the feel and the punch are just ridiculous. The big takeaway: the green channel with a boost is basically classic rock magic on this amp. That’s the lane where it surprised me the most—tight, chewy, and it sits like it wants to be in a live band mix, not just a bedroom “sounds good alone” thing. I’m also using a Centura-style drive to push it, and that combo gets you that immediate “oh yeah” response where you don’t have to fight the rig.
