In this mid-year reset, I’m taking you through the exact routine I use when I can feel myself drifting into “productive, but not well.” We start slow—skincare, lymphatic massage, gua sha, affirmations, and a walk—because for my Type A brain, the body has to get the signal that it’s safe to downshift before the planning can actually work. Then I shift into my Q2 + June review where I look at my habit data and patterns like a little research project: what’s trending over time vs. what was just a snapshot of a busy week. From there, I walk through my Q3 reset booklet and show you how I turn reflections into systems. I update my Notion dashboard (goals, monthly breakdowns, weekly planning, time blocking, daily planner, and my niche pages like my postdoc hub, content calendar, and bookshelf) so my tools support my well-being—not just my output. The biggest takeaway: goals are nice, but systems are what make “what feels good” sustainable. This is me choosing more joy, more intention, and more rest—without losing the structure I genuinely love.
