In Vlogmas 2025 Day 4, I’m taking y’all through a real small business day—processing a Shopify candle order, printing the label, picking inventory, and packing everything up to head to the post office. My office/shop is a mess right now because I’m also getting ready for a vendor event on Saturday, so it’s one of those days where I’m trying to do a little bit of everything in a short amount of time. This order was 10 candles (mostly 4 oz), and of course I had to run downstairs to grab more Lemon Bliss because that’s what was low. I show my packing process—checking jars for wax residue, making sure my bottom warning stickers are on (because it’s illegal to sell without them), and double/triple checking the order so nothing gets mixed up. I also talk about my best sellers (Coastal Serenity is my number one) and what I personally burn the most (Lemon and Morning Brew in the kitchen). Before I seal the box, I add freebies, care cards, and gift cards since the customer marked it as a gift, then I load it up with peanuts, bubble wrap, and fragile stickers on every side. After my meeting, I run the package to the post office (it was cold to me—52 degrees, okay), check my PO box, and chat a bit about Vlogmas, vendor events, and what I’m planning next for the business.
