Hey y’all! In VLOGMAS 2025 Day 14, I’m in the studio finishing up my candle prep—mainly trimming my wicks, wiping down jars, and getting these labels on so I can keep moving toward sales. I’m working through a batch that wasn’t immediately needed (mostly backfill), so it feels like I’ve been doing candles forever, but we’re getting it done. I also talk through why it’s best to trim wood wicks when the candle is dry—because if you cut them when they’re not, pieces can break off and you’ll be fishing that mess out. While I’m cleaning and labeling, I’m chit-chatting about holiday business, vendor markets I wanted to visit (but it’s freezing cold), and how gardening has been my best stress reliever. I share how I stopped watching TV during COVID, turned off cable, and leaned into my garden to keep my anxiety low—and now I mainly watch YouTube (plus a couple Hulu shows when I’m in the mood). I also keep it real about Vlogmas: uploading every day is a lot, and I’m doing it on two channels, so I’m exhausted and definitely understand why creators take time off after. But I’m still showing up, trying to grow this channel, and reminding myself—if it’s my purpose, it’ll happen.
