Hi y’all, in this Small Business Chronicles video I’m unboxing and reviewing a new director’s chair I picked up on Amazon to use at my vendor events. I thought I was gonna have to put it together, but it pretty much comes ready to go—just unfold it, lock the sides in place, and you’re good. It comes with a carrying bag, has a cup holder, side storage, and a little pocket where I can keep things like cords, chargers, and the random small stuff I always need at events. The biggest reason I needed this chair is because my old chair sits too low. When my candles and products are up on risers, people walking by can’t really see me behind the table unless I’m standing the whole time—and vendor events can be 10 hours, so I need to sit down sometimes. This chair sits really high (I’m 5’5 and 3/4s and my feet don’t touch the floor), so it feels like it’s made more for somebody taller, but it’s still workable and comfortable with back support. The little bottom “sling” part didn’t cover like I expected (honestly, it’s kinda trash), but overall I’m happy with it and I’ll be using it at my markets.
