About This Video

I’ve been on a gaming laptop for the past four years (my Asus ROG M16), and if you edit videos or game on a laptop, you already know the struggle: heat. In this video I tested the llano V12 Ultra for a full week, and I’m not even gonna lie—I used to think laptop coolers didn’t actually work. This one does. I walk through the unboxing, the setup, and the two ways you can control it: either plug-and-play with the physical buttons/dial, or with the software if you want more control and temperature readouts. I also show the features that make it different, like the foam seal that forces air up through your laptop vents, the easy-access dust filter, the extra USB ports, and the adjustable legs. Then I do real testing: fan speed/noise, temps at low RPM vs max (up to 2,800 RPM on the pad), and a full video export comparison. With the cooler off, my CPU was hitting the 70s/80s and the export took about 33 minutes. With the cooler maxed (and my laptop in manual mode), temps stayed mostly in the 50s–70s and the render finished in about 27 minutes—faster and cooler, even if it gets loud.
