In this video I’m checking out the Ekster Cardholder and the Ekster Finder Card, and I start with a quick unboxing of both. The Finder Card honestly surprised me right away because it’s super thin and lightweight—I expected it to feel more metal. The best part is it’s rechargeable, so you’re not dealing with replacing a battery. It comes with a magnetic charger that you just snap on, and you can see the LED flashing when it’s charging. After that, I walk you through setting the Finder Card up in Apple Find My. You just press and hold the little button until it makes a sound, then in the Find My app you go to Add > Other Item, connect it, name it, and you’re good. From there you can play a sound if you lose your wallet, share the item with someone else, check battery percentage, and get directions. I also show how the cardholder works: it fits up to 12 cards, has an RFID blocker, a cash band, and an ejector button that pops your cards up. One thing to note though—when the Finder Card is inside the main card slot area, the ejector can jam sometimes, so I’d recommend placing it under the cash band instead for smoother ejection.
