In this video, I’m breaking down how I spot fake vs real “AirPods Pro 3” by testing the features that fakes usually mess up. I’m literally using the fake pair first, and even though it shows options like the heart rate sensor, it doesn’t actually pull any data. On the real pair, you can see my heart rate data right away, which is a huge giveaway. Same thing with the hearing aid option—on the fake ones you can toggle it and slide it up and down, but you won’t hear any difference. I also compare the little details in settings: on the real pair you get the precision finding mic, and the case sound works like it should. On the fake pair, the “play sound” option only plays through the earbuds, not the case, and conversation awareness shows up but doesn’t work. Sound-wise, the fake pair comes off bassier, but the real pair still sounds better overall and has way stronger noise cancellation—when I turn ANC on with the real ones, I can barely hear anything. The biggest red flag for me was the mic test: the fake pair wasn’t even moving the waveform, like… why would they make fakes and the microphone doesn’t work?
