The biggest feature is that locking lid—because I’ve dropped my AirPods before and they literally flew out on impact. With the lock, the case stays shut tight, which also gives me peace of mind if it’s clipped to my bag with the included carabiner. If you don’t want something that heavy-duty, the Hybrid case is a cleaner, softer option with more color choices (pink, purple, blue, and more). It still helps keep your AirPods in place thanks to the magnetic lid, and for AirPods 4 it also adds MagSafe compatibility (even Apple Watch charger support).
