In this video, I put the Optimum No Rinse car wash to the test to see if it will scratch my car. As an auto detailing enthusiast, I'm always looking for the best methods and products to keep my vehicle clean and protected, especially during the winter months when a traditional hose car wash may not be practical. The Optimum No Rinse system is a popular choice among car owners who want to wash their car at home without the need for a hose, making it a great option for a waterless car wash or rinseless wash. I'll be using the Optimum No Rinse solution in conjunction with a microfiber towel to gently clean my car's surface, and I'll also be discussing some useful auto detailing tips and tricks for getting the best results. If you're considering starting a rinseless car wash business or just want to learn how to use a rinseless car wash at home, this video is for you. Throughout the video, I'll be sharing my experience with the Optimum No Rinse product, including how to use it effectively and whether it's a good choice for those looking for a no rinse car wash solution. By the end of the video, you'll have a better understanding of the benefits and drawbacks of using a rinseless wash method, and whether it's right for your car care needs. About This Video

To wash your vehicle, do you need a pressure washer? No. Do you need a hose? No. In this video I wash a dirty vehicle using nothing but a bucket (about 2 gallons of water), a wash mitt/Optimum’s Big Red Sponge, a microfiber drying towel, and Optimum No Rinse (ONR). I’ll be honest—when I first heard about rinseless washes I was super skeptical. A professional detailer explained how ONR works, I tried it, and I’ve been using it for over a year now. At this point, I recommend it to pretty much everybody I talk to. I break down why ONR is safe (and why it doesn’t scratch when you use it correctly): the polymers encapsulate dirt, separate it from the paint, add a ton of lubrication, and help break grime down into less abrasive particles. I also show my process tweaks—like pre-spraying each panel with a cheap pump sprayer, washing one panel at a time, and “gliding” the sponge instead of rubbing. Then I use Opti-Seal as a drying aid (one spray per panel) to add protection and make the finish look slick. My big takeaway: ONR makes it easy to wash in the garage with the door shut in winter (or in extreme summer heat), it doesn’t mess with coatings/wax/PPF, and it cut my wash time down to about 23 minutes—so I can keep my vehicles clean more often.
