My takeaway: Aqara really shines on platform support. You’re getting local AI detections, 24/7 continuous recording to microSD (up to 512GB), optional SMB backup, and compatibility with HomeKit Secure Video, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, and Home Assistant via RTSP. The app is snappy, and the day/night footage looked crisp to my eyes—then I let you decide from the samples.
