In this video I tested the Eahora Wavona propelled float kickboard and basically answered the big question: is this thing actually worth buying before you drop the cash. I’ve always wanted to try one of these motorized boards, and when Eahora reached out I knew my daughter and son were going to love it. I also had my friend’s son run it hard for about 30 minutes, and it turned into one of those pool toys that kids will absolutely fight over—so yeah, you might end up needing more than one. I break down the real-world performance and the specs: 250W motor, 3-blade nylon prop, about 60N of thrust, and up to 1.3 mph. The big win for me is the battery and charging—around 60 minutes of continuous play and about 2.5 hours to recharge, which is a game changer compared to some “adult” boards that run 10–15 minutes and take forever to charge. It’s rated for 132 lbs, but I tested it at 220 lbs and it still moved me around (not fast—yeah, I can swim faster—but it gets the job done). I also cover the safety grate, the MagSafe-style magnetic charger, the status ring, and the aquatic spray gun that’ll shoot water close to 20 feet for some extra fun.
