I walk you through an Obi-style belt (such a great first project for working with ties), a compact little jewellery case for travel, a luxurious scarf, an adorable zippered wristlet pouch, a small crossbody bag that’s more advanced, and a Japanese-style gift pouch. It’s a long one, but I included chapters so you can jump straight to the project you want. Along the way, I share the little techniques that make tie projects go from “cute upcycle” to “exquisite gift”: how to handle slippery silk, how to get clean finishes, and which closures I like for small accessories and bags.
