Only 4 spots left for London in May 2026! Join me for an unforgettable Sustainable Fashion Tour: https://tinyurl.com/travelwithCatherine ✨ Join my online sewing community: https://skool.com/catherinessewingroom/about In this video, I’m looking back at 23 of the things I made in 2025 — the wins, the lessons, and the few projects I’d tweak if I were making them again. I genuinely loved 20 of them, and the other 3 taught me something valuable, which feels like a pretty great ratio. I’m also reflecting on two very special trips this year and the creation of Catherine’s Sewing Room, my online membership. Both the trips and the membership have become such meaningful ways to connect, create, and really get to know each other — not just online, but IRL too. Thank you so much for being part of this year with me. Wishing you a creative, confident, and joyful 2026 ✨ Happy sewing, ~Catherine Videos Mentioned (in order) First Butterfly Top – https://youtu.be/iwE0D8HVddo First Two Dresses – https://youtu.be/sx6nElqiebs Vortex Dress – https://youtu.be/J-WZvwNllN8 Second Butterfly Top – https://youtu.be/rw333QBpl5U Denim & Chiffon Skirt – https://youtu.be/y_JbM9HWDN8 Triptych Tee – https://youtu.be/oHfYNguXHg4 Summer Skirt – https://youtu.be/aWJP4WoVRWY Cold Shoulder Top & Trouser Flip – https://youtu.be/NA67dEgglDw Patchwork Jeans – https://youtu.be/sTjXoQJ0Y8Y Shibori Linen Dress – https://youtu.be/uIVy1-ti_jU Black Border Printed Dress – https://youtu.be/QXzzFeCEGaw Denim/Sweatshirt Mash-Up & Scrap Top – https://youtu.be/tCcqq87pXWA Dove Top & Jade Pants – https://youtu.be/UrV1XblPy8o Lace Top – https://youtu.be/kxueIkiP-Pw Embroidered Bomber Jacket – https://youtu.be/Ucvv7tdu3Hw Diana Cardigan – https://youtu.be/_4T9h9scSFY Two Crewnecks into a Hoodie – https://youtu.be/rc7WfD19rzU Quartet Tees – https://youtu.be/ffjh0RMFf70 Upcycled Jeans – https://youtu.be/wPPpS39l6to Céline Dion Inspired Shirt – https://youtu.be/ivyaEbZTu_c Gifts from Ties – https://youtu.be/azRZwTb6j2E Fabric Bowls – https://youtu.be/MYnCmrB9fas 💖 Affiliate Links & Tools I Love 🖤 LDH Scissors (Canada) https://ldhscissors.com/catherinesews 🧷 Baby Lock Machines (Quality Sewing) https://www.qualitysewing.com/CatherineSews 🧵 My Sewing Machines • Baby Lock Sofia 2 – https://www.qualitysewing.com/?sca_ref=6711197.FFgCiIYpxi2c • Dream Serger: Baby Lock Victory – https://www.qualitysewing.com ✂️ Favourite Sewing Tools - Definitely try shopping local first to support your nearest sewing store! About This Video

In this video I’m doing a full end-of-year sewist debrief: 23 projects I made in 2025, what I genuinely loved, what I learned, and the handful of makes I’d tweak if I were sewing them again. I walk through everything in order—from tops and dresses to mash-ups, jeans, and gift-y little makes—so you can see how my style and skills evolved across the year. And yes, I’m calling out the “wins” (the pieces I actually reach for) as well as the projects that taught me something the hard way. I also zoom out and talk about two really special trips this year, plus what it’s been like building Catherine’s Sewing Room—my online membership—into a place where we can sew together, troubleshoot fit, and keep the momentum going week to week. My biggest takeaway: a “not perfect” project is still valuable if it helps you learn what you like, what you’ll wear, and what you’d change next time. I’m heading into 2026 feeling grateful, more confident in my choices, and very excited to keep making clothes that don’t just look good on the hanger—they work in real life.
