I know we’re all tired of the perfectly curated TikToks and reels where someone wakes up at 5am, has the aesthetic glass, and somehow does a 12-step routine every single day. For me, sustainability is about being realistic, honoring your season of life, and even respecting your circadian rhythm—because nature has seasons, and we are nature. Winter might be a season where rest is more normal, and that doesn’t make you “behind.” My biggest takeaway: simplify your game plan so you can actually stick with it. I keep my mornings anchored with one non-negotiable—conscious breathing. Your first “hit” of dopamine in the morning matters because your mind will try to chase that all day, so if you start with breathwork (instead of scrolling), you’re setting an anchor your nervous system can return to.
