In this gentle guided breathwork session, I’m inviting you to slow down and give yourself permission to rest—fully, deeply, without earning it. We start by getting comfortable lying down and “taking up space,” then I guide you through softening the shoulders, releasing the jaw, and letting all those tiny muscles around the eyes surrender. The intention is simple: exhale the day, let go of the pressure, and come back into your body. From there, we move into slow nasal breathing with a longer exhale: inhale for 4, exhale for 8 (through the nose or mouth). That extended exhale is where the nervous system starts to get the message that you’re safe—where the worries, frustrations, and tension can begin to loosen their grip. After a few rounds, you’ll return to your natural breath and rest in stillness, letting thoughts drift by. I end with a quiet reminder you can whisper to yourself: “I am safe. I am allowed to rest.” You can let this carry you into sleep or deep relaxation.
