About This Video

In this video, I’m sharing how I “mastered” my anxiety (okay—master is a stretch, but I significantly changed my levels) and how you can too. Anxiety is usually future-based fear: the what-if scenarios that aren’t even happening in real life. The wild part is I didn’t fully realize how anxious I was until I started doing conscious breathing. Breathwork made it obvious that most of us are over-breathing and living in a low-key fight-or-flight state without even knowing it. I talk about the specific places anxiety shows up for me—public speaking (YouTube is different, sis), confrontation, and especially driving after some scary situations. The biggest shift wasn’t “never feeling anxious” again; it was changing my reaction. Breathwork taught me how to zoom out, observe the thoughts and triggers, and stop attaching to them like they’re absolute truth. Practical tools I use include silence (sometimes I literally turn the music off), the “feather under my nose” cue to slow my breathing, and simply bringing awareness to my breath—because awareness naturally slows it down. If you want one technique to start with, I always say: extend your exhale. Let go so you can make space to receive. And if you feel called to try breathwork, follow that calling—because you might realize how stressed you’ve actually been.
