Yes, it’s bigger, but the upgrade isn’t just about screen size. The new Show 21 adds Zigbee, Thread, and Matter connectivity built in, the camera is moved to the center with a higher resolution, and the sound quality is improved compared to what I’ve been using. I also test one of the most important practical questions: can you reuse the Echo Show 15 wall bracket and power supply? In my case, the bracket works and both power supplies are 30 watts, so I just reused the one I already had plugged in. I do a quick size breakdown too—while the screen is 21 inches, the overall unit is closer to 25 inches wide, so plan your wall space accordingly. It also comes with a remote (which was optional on my 15), and for this spot in my smart home setup, it feels like a solid, clean upgrade.
