Hey YouTube friends—it's me, Dani. In this quick update I’m walking you through the progress on Bellavana Coffee number three, our first brick-and-mortar with a drive-thru, and it’s finally starting to look like something. We’ve been taking almost all the walls to a “shoe white” (more like a creamy white), and we’ve got these huge, beautiful white tiles that are going in. I’m keeping one main wall black (it just needs a couple touch-ups), and there’s some cool black piping down low that I’m really into. The back wall is staying black too, but we are changing the color of one of the other back areas. Right now it’s a mess—plumbing is happening where our sinks will go, and the floors are mapped out for the service tables where we’ll be working. I also measured out ideas for a couch and chairs because I like to measure things before committing. In the back, the bathroom area is framed in but it’s super dark, so we need another light. And the drive-thru is officially taking shape: they removed the old metal door and installed a sliding window for orders. There’s a lot of paint (and more paint) left to do, but compared to when it was all black, it already looks so much better.
