Okay guys—this one is me doing a straight-up first impressions run to Seven Brew, and… eww. No. I went in thinking I was just grabbing an iced vanilla latte, and Dixie grabbed a strawberry smoothie. But the whole drive-thru setup felt weird because once you’re in line, you’re kind of trapped—like there’s no easy way out if things go sideways. And sure enough, it did. Even with a ton of people working, it was still slow, and the vibe felt more like everyone was fooling around than cranking out drinks. When I got to the window, they handed me a white blended drink that definitely wasn’t what I ordered. I told them it was wrong, they “fixed it,” and I still ended up with something blended—basically a frappe situation. Taste-wise, it reminded me of coffee out of a granita machine. Not the worst thing ever, but it’s not an iced vanilla latte, and it’s not something I’d go out of my way for. Bottom line: I’m not worried about Seven Brew stealing my coffee shop heart—maybe it’ll do in a pinch, but I’m not a huge fan of the experience.
