I’m honestly the worst pool person, but somehow I’ve kept a pool alive for six seasons, so we’re calling that a win. Since I already ordered this one, I’m planning to gift it to a friend who needs it—she’s a teacher and she absolutely deserves it. I’m unboxing a Vevor setup (this one is 3/4 HP), and I walk through what’s in the box—stand, filter tank, the “all the goodies” fittings, and the motor. I also compare it to my own Vevor pump (mine is 1 HP) that’s been keeping my 20-foot, 48-inch-deep pool running great. We talk sand capacity, settings (this one even has a winter setting), and why I care so much about good circulation here in Louisiana where it’s hot and sunny. My biggest takeaway: keep it simple—chlorine + running the filter about 10 hours a day is my easy peasy lemon squeezy routine.
