About This Video

Packing for a 4-day trip used to be easy for me—one carry-on, cheap flights, and I could hop across cities without thinking twice. But this week’s vlog is a very different vibe because I’m traveling as a mom, and it’s baby girl’s first flight. So I’m packing during nap time (and praying she stays asleep), juggling a carry-on, a checked bag, a stroller, and all the “why do we have so many attachments?” stroller extras. In this video, I walk you through what I actually pack for baby travel: multiple onesies, diapers, wipes, disposable changing pads, and a little mini “baby pharmacy” (vitamin D drops, Tylenol, thermometer, saline spray, nasal aspirator). I also pack bibs, towels, hair bands, bottles, baby cereal, plates, and even formula—yes, even though I exclusively breastfeed—because I like having a backup plan in case she randomly decides bottles are acceptable on this trip. For my own bag, it’s basically all breastfeeding-friendly outfits because that’s my life now: before I wear anything, I ask, “Can I breastfeed in this?” I also show what goes in my diaper bag for the flight—extra outfit, toys, ear protection, baby’s documents—and I’m not even going to lie, I pack prayers too… because some people online act like babies on flights are an “ick.” Sorry in advance. Actually, I’m not sorry.
