About This Video

In this Motherhood Diaries episode, I’m doing a raw 6-month postpartum review of motherhood—vlog style—because the idea of a neat sit-down setup is honestly not realistic with a baby. I’m taking you through the highs, the middles, and the lows, starting from the NICU experience and the newborn stage. The first two months were rough, not just because of the newborn demands, but because postpartum recovery is something nobody can truly explain until you’re living it. I talk about postpartum frustration, rage, sleep deprivation, body changes, anxiety, and even how I had to have hard conversations with my partner because the weight of being “the baby’s everything” can feel so unshared. I also share what helped me survive: learning on the job, doing what works for my baby (not what the internet says), and staying grounded spiritually because motherhood will test you. I open up about social media pressure and milestones, mom brain, broken sleep, and the reality that “no one is coming to save you”—even with support, you still carry a lot. And as the year ends, I reflect on how motherhood has stretched me, taught me to forgive myself quickly, ask for help, and extend grace. Six months in, it’s getting easier as my capacity expands—and truly, having my child was the best thing that happened to me in 2025.
