As I point out in this review the cable, while improved, still leaves something to be desired. The physical size may also be an issue for some. However, if you care about sound then these hit right on the money. A crazy earphone with 24 balanced armatures (12 on each side) that produces detailed and engaging sound while having a sensible tuning. Balanced armatures don't usually play great with bass but these do and the rest of the frequencies are dialed in in such a way that I haven't seen from KZ before. This KZ AST review surprised me and I hope this is a sign of good things to come from the company in the future. The AST is by far their best-sounding IEM to date.
