About This Video

In this review I’m talking about the EPZ 530, and it genuinely caught me off guard because EPZ was basically new to me. I’ve had a bunch of their stuff land on my desk recently (G10, X Tipsy, their amp, Q5), and the 530 ended up being one of those “hidden gem” moments—especially at the AliExpress pricing I saw. The first impression is honestly insane: the box presentation is packaging done right, you get a solid carry case, adapters, and a tip card with different shapes/bores. Small warning though: the nozzle doesn’t have much for tips to really grab onto, so pick tips that fit securely (I personally recommend AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC). The shells are absolutely gorgeous—this polished wood-like finish looks way better in person than on camera—and the ergonomics are excellent with an easy seal and medium insertion depth. The included cable is also a standout: it looks premium and passes my “drop test” where it just sits nicely without fighting you. Sound-wise, this is a 5BA set with a relatively neutral tuning that leans a bit upper/treble-focused. You get fast, detailed BA bass with great mid-bass texture (but don’t expect dynamic-driver sub-bass rumble), outstanding mid clarity and imaging, and extended treble that shines with J-rock, K-pop, and J-pop. Overall, it’s a refined, classy tuning and a ridiculous value if you like this kind of presentation.
