By committing to noise canceling, the company can focus on sound quality and create a product that blows most competition out of the water. They might not be the perfect TWS for traveling, but if the priority is on fidelity, they are well made, sound great, and I can even forgive the odd color choice. About This Video

In this video I review the Campfire Audio Orbit—Campfire’s first true wireless—and I go through the unboxing, build, fit, app, and (most importantly) the sound. The packaging is classic Campfire: recycled, simple, and honestly one of the best unboxing experiences in the hobby. The case feels great in-hand, it’s pocketable, and you get USB-C plus Qi wireless charging. My one big “why, Campfire?” is the color scheme—personally it reads like hearing-aid brown/yellow—but the hardware quality is there. Fit is where you need to pay attention. The nozzle is very shallow and there’s a lot of weight out on the shell, so the stock tips are a disaster for me—slippery, too soft, and they break seal. My fix is simple: AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC. They’re grippy, they hold shape, they extend the bore a touch, and the Orbit stays put even when I’m running. Sound-wise, the Orbit is the real deal: slightly dark, with a pleasing mid-bass hump and surprisingly detailed mids with great imaging and separation. Sub-bass has real texture, the top end is smooth and rolls off, and the whole presentation sounds big and open. And the bigger point: I actually like that Campfire skipped ANC here—let Sony/Apple win that race, and let Campfire focus on sound, then give us more tunings and price points like they do with wired IEMs.
