About This Video

In this video I review the BQEYZ Winter, and it honestly caught me by surprise. It’s a hybrid IEM with a dynamic driver plus a bone conduction driver, and the whole point here is that it’s not a “safe” tuning for everyone. I go through the build, the accessories (which BQEYZ actually does really well), the cable behavior (twist/drop test, no memory, doesn’t tangle), and the fit—because these shells are big and chunky, pushing the limits for smaller ears. Sound-wise, I’m really clear: buy this carefully. The Winter is amazing for a very specific use case—especially J-rock/J-pop and that East Asian-market style of tuning where you want crispness, clarity, air, imaging and separation more than big sub-bass slam. The bass is fast and clean but recessed in sub-bass, the mid-bass is detailed (not super textured), the upper mids extend nicely, and the treble is pushed without being sibilant. I also talk about why geography and the music you grew up with changes what you think “good tuning” is, and I share a small playlist so you can hear exactly what I’m hearing.
