Hi everyone! In this video I’m sharing my colouring book and supplies haul for June 2025, and I do full flips of everything so you can properly see what you’re getting (and because sometimes the more you look, the more you realise a book is “a little bit of me”). I picked up both Flowerscape books by Maggie Enterrios—Flowerscape and Flowerscape in Paradise—because I’ve really been enjoying colouring florals lately. Paradise is the one I’m most drawn to as it has more “scene” pages, plus it includes a QR code so you can scan and identify the flowers, which I love. I also grabbed a second copy of Kawaii Tarot (which I basically never do) so I can use the Kawaii Tarot card deck as colour references and copy Lulu Mayo’s palettes. I showed a completed page sneak peek, chatted honestly about bleed-through and learning as I go, and why I’m going back to primarily pencils in that book because the paper just isn’t good enough for heavier mediums. Book-wise, I also picked up Manga Mania by Chris Hart (chunky, smooth paper, loads of images) and Manga Sparkle Mermaid City by K. Camaro—my first from that series because it doesn’t have the pre-coloured sparkle bits that usually block my creative freedom. For supplies, I used a Hobbycraft voucher to justify a Tombow floral set and added ultra-fine black and white Poscas (always handy). The dream purchase this month was the full 120 Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencil set—thank you for my YouTube pennies making that possible—and I also grabbed the Albrecht Dürer colourless blender marker to test whether it’s basically just an alcohol blender in disguise.
