Mermaid City is my first Manga Sparkle book because it doesn’t have the pre-coloured sparkle bits that usually block my creative freedom. The pages are perforated and honestly adorable, even though I’m not usually a mermaid girly—this one totally won me over and I’m seeing lots of pastel potential.
