About This Video

For the last year, I’ve had a strong opinion about where LEGO reselling is headed, and I’m saying it plainly: we’re in a new era where the opportunity is about to boom. After 2019 and all the COVID chaos, we got an influx of resellers and a lot of people got exhausted. Now I’m seeing the opposite—people liquidating, people leaving the space—and that’s exactly why I believe now is the best time to become a LEGO reseller. When 2028 and 2029 hit, you’re going to look back at this window and realize these were the “good old days,” because the sets you can still buy at reasonable prices right now won’t stay affordable. In this video I break down a handful of sets that only retired a couple weeks ago and what the price action is already telling us using Amazon/CamelCamelCamel. I cover the LEGO Icons NASA Space Shuttle Discovery (10283), the LEGO Ideas A-Frame Cabin (21338), the LEGO Icons Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (10274), and the LEGO Ideas The Office (21336). My whole point is simple: if you did your due diligence, stacked discounts, and bought smart—even at 20% off—you’re setting yourself up for serious ROI as inventory dries up and Q4 demand hits. LEGO reselling is still good, and in my opinion it’s about to get better.
