About This Video

Before I get into Krusty Burger, I shout out a LEGO reselling event happening May 28th at 9:00 p.m. Eastern on Brick Dynasty’s YouTube channel—an absolute all-star lineup. Then we get into what you actually need to know before buying LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger (10352). Full disclosure: I’m not some mega Simpsons superfan of every season, but I owned a ton of Simpsons House sets back in the day, and I’m genuinely very excited about this release. I also like the box art vibe—feels like a nighttime scene instead of the boring “everything is black” era. I break down why I’m more bullish on Krusty Burger than I was on the Simpsons House at launch. The House had that post-retirement “constipation” until the COVID pop, while the Quickie Mart moved differently (and even spiked hard on Amazon), but it’s still an ancillary set. Krusty Burger is also ancillary, but at a way more approachable price point ($199.99) and with a build and minifig lineup I think will land better with collectors. I also cover the June 4 release date, why buying outside LEGO could matter (Target, Barnes & Noble, etc.) for stacking discounts and gift cards, and why the unique minifigures are a big part of the long-term story. And yes—there’s a GWP, and in my opinion it’s hot garbage.
