About This Video

I’m finally giving you an official tour of my bedroom and walking you through the functional (but still cozy) updates I’ve made recently. I also share how I planned the whole redesign in Milanote—basically the tool I use to structure and visualize all of my creative projects. I show you how I kept things big-picture (shopping list, color palette, links, layout sketch), then went super detailed with sub-boards for each zone of my room—especially the areas I didn’t fully know what I wanted yet. The biggest upgrade is my new camera gear station using the IKEA Kallax system. I used to store gear in clear acrylic organizers on my ladder shelves, but seeing everything made the space feel cluttered—so now most of my gear lives in drawers (lenses, extra cameras, tripods, mounts), plus I made an on-the-go accessory drawer for perfumes, lip balms, and sunglasses. I also built a simple charging station with an open-top crate so cables can feed through neatly. I also share my minimal desk setup (because clutter stops me from working), my updated beauty corner with a larger IKEA pegboard (yes, my Dyson finally has a perfect home), and the storage pieces that make small spaces feel way more efficient. Overall, my main takeaway is you don’t have to buy all new stuff to redesign a room—sometimes moving things around for function is the whole glow-up.
