About This Video

In this video, I’m turning my childhood bedroom into the minimal home office + creative studio I’ve been envisioning for a long time. I start with a full declutter and clean-out (because this room was basically a multi-purpose catch-all: guest room, storage, office… everything), then I walk you through my moodboard and design plan. I was honestly nervous about the blue walls at first, but once I looked up blue offices, I realized it could be really cute—so I leaned into blue as the base, with light walnut + white accents to keep everything clean and bright. The biggest transformation is the layout and the desk zone. I went with an L-shaped standing desk so I could “Tetris” the space in a way that feels open when you walk in, and I split the desk into two purposes: one side for editing/planning and the other side for filming product shots (especially for review-style videos). I also share the little systems that make my setup feel calm—dual monitor arms for a cleaner look, a cable management tray so nothing looks messy, and hidden storage like the modular desk drawer + side cabinet. My main takeaway: I can’t work in clutter, so I always prioritize minimal surfaces and extra (but hidden) storage so the space stays functional and cozy.
