About This Video

In my first official video of 2025, I’m doing something that feels exciting and a little scary: launching my very first Etsy shop. I walk you through the exact step-by-step process I used, from why I wanted to start (after designing a whole themed set for my Christmas party) to how I approached it strategically so I wouldn’t overwhelm myself. I also share how I leaned on Skillshare to learn what selling digital templates on Etsy actually looks like—especially the parts that are totally different from YouTube, like the Etsy algorithm and planning a smart launch. From there, I turn this into one of my favorite things: a mini project. I take a pop-up cafe invitation I designed and use it as a blueprint to create Canva template bundles—complete with multiple invitation options and matching menu layouts so buyers can mix and match. Then I show the “business side sweet spot”: sourcing mockups (because I’m genuinely bad at taking photos), building the listing, figuring out pricing (with a new way of thinking about profit), and finally publishing. I end with a little shop tour + the story behind my shop name, Shop Studio 66, which I’m building as a cute passion project with my mom.
