About This Video

In this cozy productivity vlog, I’m sharing what it’s been like trying to find fulfilling creative work while also sitting in the uncertainty of freelance life. It starts with something that genuinely lit me up again: pottery. I took a super spontaneous private wheel-throwing class (literally in someone’s basement) because there aren’t many studios near me anymore, and I ended up making four pieces. Seeing how the glazes turned out honestly reminded me that I want more creative hobbies in my life—not just “productive” work. From there, I take you through a slower work week reset: setting priorities, finally facing my inbox (with a little help from QuillBot), and finishing a freelance birthday video for a close friend. Editing something that isn’t for my own channel felt surprisingly meaningful, especially because I got to build a little story for people I love. I also give a real update on my job search and why I’ve been keeping my options open—between a rough job market, brand opportunities, and the possibility of freelancing (editing or even social media management). I don’t wrap this one up with a perfect conclusion, because I’m still figuring it out in real time—and I wanted to be honest about that.
