About This Video

In this cozy summer vlog, I’m sharing how I’m building a creative routine around hobbies again—specifically, getting back into ceramics and making it a consistent part of my week. I take you with me from a simple summer morning (strawberry yogurt bowl moment) into what’s been changing behind the scenes: my upload schedule has been a little flipped, and I’ve been deep in the final stages of formatting my YouTube Blueprints guide. But the biggest shift is that I signed up for a ceramics class, and I genuinely feel like I fell in love with pottery all over again. I talk about why this studio finally feels like “my” place (the downtown ones were a bit too hipstery for me), and how being around kind people—literally grandmas who’ve been doing ceramics for 30+ years—has been so inspiring. It’s also made me feel more productive, because when I come home from the studio, I already feel like I accomplished something and my focus is so locked in. I also show how I plan my projects in Milanote (mood boards, checklists, and ideas for pinch pots, coiling, and wheel throwing), plus a little ceramics supplies haul and what I keep in my studio bag/locker setup.
