About This Video

Hi and hello everybody—it’s Fern. In this November houseplant walkthrough, I’m taking you around my indoor jungle now that things are looking a lot more organized (and honestly… we’re thriving). The last time I filmed a full tour, everything was in complete disarray, so this feels like a real little “recovery update” for both me and the plants. It’s not perfect—there are still chores, pruning, and pest stuff I’m avoiding—but most areas are cleaned up, styled better, and way calmer to look at. Before the tour really gets going, I unbox a surprise plant package from Brandon (Philip Brandon): a stunning fuzzy, dark, wavy-leaf Hoya “versigi” rooted in moss, plus peacock moss that is genuinely giving fairy vibes. Then we move through the living room, cabinets, windows, and my coziest corners—checking in on Anthuriums, Hoyas (including some exciting peduncles), Begonias, succulents, and a few plants that are on my “might need a reset” list. I also share what’s working right now (more light in the right spots, actually watering my begonias, and not obsessing over every imperfect leaf) and what’s still on my to-do list—like mealybugs, possible spider mites, and a Monstera that’s stressing me out because it’s just too big for the space.
