Today’s video is basically my dream combo: a cozy unboxing that turns into actual plant chores. I finally cracked open the massive Rousseau Plant Care box that’s been sitting in my basement since September (it arrived mid minty-bee), and I got so spoiled. I unboxed my favorite rainforest-green/teal moss poles, the pole supports (honestly my #1 most helpful moss pole accessory), connecting clips, and a bunch of drippers—now upgraded with a little watering gauge, which is going to make life so much easier. After the haul, I put everything straight to work: swapping out plastic cups for drippers, adding supports so poles stop leaning, and extending a few setups so my climbers can keep rooting up. I also opened my Optimize Organics order—mini LECA and a huge 10–20mm LECA bag—and they surprised me with Orchiata (the Cadillac of orchid bark) and a houseplant fertilizer. Then I finished with a mini repot session into the tiny Rousseau pots: an anthurium seedling, a warocqueanum baby, my Hoya kentiana ‘Lorie Lynn,’ and even a weird little euphorbia that desperately needed to graduate from a nursery pot. It’s equal parts plant supply joy and “okay, let’s get our lives together” energy.
